Senator Isakson tries to provide an educational opportunity, in either his state (located in Atlanta) or Washington, D.C., office, for many Georgia students. The number of interns serving at any one time is governed by space and financial limitations, as well as office needs. Internships are competitive and preference is given to students with Georgia ties and upper-level undergraduate college students.
